Oh please help me with my Sims game! All of my neighbor hoods are gone!!!!?

If they're only Maxis neighborhoods you've lost then you can use this guide to reset them and you'll have them back.

If they were custom neighborhoods then I'm afraid you have lost them for good.

Don't go through the hassle of uninstalling and reinstalling.  Instead just reset your user files.

Maybe theres something wrong on your: C:\My Documents\EA GAMES\The Sims 2\Neighborhoods?

Do you have any backups?

Well what happened? Did you get on Sims and they were just gone? Did you install an expansion pack?

It's been so long since I've played, but I remember the same sort of thing happening to me. I never got all my neighborhoods back :-[. Try restarting your computer.
