Ok.. my dear Mallard ducks, Iris and Geronimo, had nine baby ducklings four days ago. I have been throwing Iris crackers and Cherrios... and her baby ducks are doing fine. I'm just wondering.. what now? I mean.. they stayed for two days, and now they're gone... so.. I'm wondering where they are. And, what do baby ducks eat... and where exactly is Geronimo ( the male)? Thanks!

  1. They'll be ok...and since you were my fan I wrote about you in my info...check it out if you'd like.. and 9 babies! Wow! You can go to wikipedia and search ducks.

  2. I have ducks too!!! Right on!! Get some starter feed they love it and lettuce and once they get older (this is crazy but) they LOVE corn on the Cobb! Mallard duck tend to flay around, But they always come back if he doesn't come back for a while then worrie but these ducks normally stick with one mate...and maybe the ducklings went with there mom back to the nest or maybe she is Hiding them form danger!?!

  3. they went to canada and the eat tacos

  4. Are these actually YOUR ducks, or just ducks that hang around your house since you say they're gone.. ? If they're wild ducks, you shouldn't feed them things like cheerios, crackers, bread, etc. If you MUST feed them, make it tomatoes, lettuce, things like that.

Ducklings eat duckling starter food, and adults will eat simply duck feed. You can pick this up at most local feed stores. Unless you mean wild ducks, in which case they'll eat what they find. Bugs, dandelion leaves, clover, etc.

  5. oh cool! can i have one???
