Ohh the baby blues what to do

Question

How do I deal with wanting another child when I know that it is not the right time? I am 25, I have a 6 year old daughter and a five year old future step son that we see weekends and I am about to graduate in December 2009 with two degrees. I do have an awesome boyfriend of almost four years....everything is just wrong about timing and money. But I dream about having another child all the time. My heart wants it but my brain screams NO!!!!

First off, if you waited till you were finicaly secure, you would never be able to have any kids.  There is a ton of questions to ask your self first.  Am I going to stay with this guy.  Can I do work with having two of my own.  Etc... Etc.  Your biological clock is ticking LOUDLY.  Question is, do I have enough support and love for aother child?  If not, wait.

girl just wait until the time is right! you still have a good ten years to bear children and not have too many risks. just wait it'll totally be worth it

Wait.  It doesn't sound like you're ready.  You know it's not the right time...  go with your gut instinct.  Graduate, get married & get financially stable for another baby.  Enjoy your daughter while she's still little.  Good luck!

Wait until you guys are married and can financially support another baby. Just enjoy the time that you have with your other child now!  She won't be 6 forever.

Wait until the time is right.

You're very young & what you feel is normal.

You'll be glad you waited until you had your degrees & could provide better for your baby.

I'm in the same boat  I'm 26 and  have a nine month old and really want another child but I know the time is not right, money is one thing followed by future career goals such as getting my masters, we also want to buy a home in a few years...but I want to have another child before I'm to old, plus I don't want such a big age difference between the two...all I can say is accompolish your goals you will be in a much better position financially once you finish and find a good job...you're still young...maybe in two-fours years go for it..that's what I'm doing
