first off let me just say i am a huge buckeye fan but i am going to try to make this as none biased as i can, but some things i just cant help

everybody always says that OSU is weak this year when in fact they know they are one of if not the most talented teams in the country, for this reason, they have every single playmaker coming back all on offense and defense, not only that OSUs team last year were a team of Freshmen, Sophmores and a few juinors. now we have a way experenced team of senoirs and juinors, and a team that is pretty much loaded, now in my prediction i feel as though they will get to the NC becuase the Big Ten is a little softer than some confrences but we have 3 big games to prove our worth, USC, Wisconsin, and Illinois. in my prediction i feel it will be Ohio State facing Georgia, or Florida in the NC depending on if we beat USC but i firmly believe we will.

  1. First off let me just say that for your sake and for the good of the OSU buckeyes...You better hope you don't have to face another SEC team...you're obviously allergic to them...True, you lost little to no starters from last year...and true, on paper, you guys are one of the teams to beat...but!  always remember, you are far inferior to the level of play which hails in the SEC...in your face smashmouth football is something you guys lack.  You got all the talent in the world when it comes to coming in 2nd...and 2nd is just the 1st loser to come across the line.  Granted, my LSU Tigers might not be the national contenders they were last year, but you browneyes certainly don't want anymore.  GEAUX TIGERS!!!!

  2. If they were duds last year, they'll just be older duds this year.  They won't get past USC to start with.  Wisconsin and Illinois will probably cream their corn too.  Hopefully after that the pollsters won't be so quick to jump on their bandwagon.  However, if they do somehow manage to get past those teams and make it to the NC game again, they'll just get embarrassed again but rather than Georgia or Florida, I'm picking LSU to repeat.

EDIT:  I drink your milkshake:  I wonder how you derived that profile name.  First of all, I'm 53 years old and I have been an LSU fan for atleast 40 years and I'm not about to change now even if LSU doesn't win a game this year.  I was #7 on the top ten answerers list for this category until during the off-season when I got bored with not very many good questions being posted in the football section.  I strayed away for a little while to try to convert some of the homosexuals in the LGBT section.  They apparently didn't like what I had to say so I got my account suspended.  I'm starting to figure out now how you came up with that name.  You will never drink MY milkshake.  I believe I would change my profile name unless you are in fact queerer than a football bat.

BTW, I didn't see you on here last year nor the year before that.  Perhaps you have only followed football since the beginning of this year.

I got two thumbs down for my answer.  I guess you rated my answer with both of your profiles.

  3. probably go the the national champtionship game and lose again like every year lol!

  4. Please continue to not worry about an all senior & junior, #22 ranked, and extremely determined PSU squad. This will only work to our advantage later this year ;)

...If I were you though, I would concentrate more on PSU, Wis, & USC and I wouldn't really worry too much about Illinois (and I don't really understand why everyone else is). They are vastly overrated this year. They have Juice Williams...and that's about it.

Elsewise, I agree with you. In fact, OSU was not planning on even making it to the big dance last year. This year's squad is the one they were banking on. I think they'll do quite well, but let's just pray that they don't face an SEC team in the title game. No matter how good they are, you have to admit, they just don't do well against the SEC....

  5. Youngstown State - W

    September 6 Ohio  - W

    September 13 at No. 3 USC - L

    September 20 Troy  - W

    September 27 Minnesota - W

    October 4 at No. 13 Wisconsin - W

    October 11 Purdue  - W

    October 18 at Michigan State - W

    October 25 No. 22 Penn State  - W

    November 8 at Northwestern  - W

    November 15 at No. 20 Illinois  - W

    November 22 Michigan  - W

I have them going 11-1 so they would get a good bowl bid

  6. No prediction needed.So.Cal 35-OSU 24,bet your house note on it.

  7. 3 straight BCS champ losses

  8. Mighty Gators 38 - Buckeyes 17....

It's great to be a Florida Gator oh it's great to be a Florida Gator....Go Gators!!

p.s. I hope you guys spank USC...good luck with your season.

p.p.s. Percy Harvin is hurt...his surgery hasn't healed as well as they hoped...if he isn't 100% this year the gators will not win the NC...with all the good teams out there we need all our bullets.

  9. I find it hilarious that people outside of the Midwest think they can speak intelligently about Buckeye football. I'm certain they don't see each and every game like the average Ohioan; thus, they have no idea what they're talking about. One or two national night games and the NC game does not make them experts.

Sorry. Had to get that off my chest. Now, if this season is anything like last season, we can bet on the #1 poll spot being occupied by a number of different teams througout the season. I don't doubt it'll be any different this year...the top 5 teams alone are tough as nails and one loss might not drop them out of the top ten. There are a few teams who I think will hold their own towards the top, though - the Buckeyes being one, Mizzo and Georgia.

While I'm not sure the Bucks can take the #1 spot on their own accord (due to the lackluster schedule), I can totally see them sneaking in the back door like they did last year. When the "mighty giants" of the Big 12 and SEC start falling like flies at the end of the season (possibly racking up second losses), the Buckeyes will be there - ready and waiting.

A couple key factors that contribute to this is:

1- Beanie Wells will be 100%

2- James Laurinitas is on top of his game and is better than ever (if that's even possible!)

Just MHO...and like you, I tried to be unbiased.

    :-)

  10. everyone of their offensive starters will break their legs on the first play, and everyone of their defensive starters will break their legs on the second play.
