should she not get the death penalty just because she is drunk?

next child rapist are going to get a slap on the hand and let of scott free because of some stupid reason saying they didn't know what they were doing.

so question what do you think this world is coming to with child killers getting of scott free?

that is the saddest thing i have heard in a long while, it made me cry, that poor child. i think we all need to really take a moment to remember that poor little girl, obviously no one cared enough while she was alive. i think its disgusting that she only got 25-30 years. i think life should mean just that. LIFE WITH NO PAROLE. we don't have the death sentence here in australia so i cant make an educated comment, but i can make an emotional one. i believe she needs to die and should suffer just as much as that poor, poor little girl, god bless her. ( bless the child i mean, not the monster of the mother it was so unfortunate to have)

OMG!!! i have been drunker then drunk before, but would never get the urge to put a baby in a microwave!!

Whether she gets the death penalty of not, she is going to have demons following her for the rest of her life, death is too good for her, let her sit on this earth and rot in a jail cell until she is too old to chew cornflakes with her teeth and anyone elses.  She will be judged.  God Bless.

I hear you.  But in the trial, an 8 year old confessed that he saw another boy do it.  So, the jury was up in the air, about if the mother actually did it or not.  Maybe the mother was drunk and passed out in another room, while another person did this.  

I think life in prison is better for her even though it costs us money.  I hope the rest of her life is h**l.

She is a disgusting HOG that deserves the worst possible Death...yet we have a Bleeding Heart System that ties our hands where people like her are concerned, a system that allows for "HER RIGHTS"  I'm Sorry, The moment a "Person" MICROWAVES a BABY is the MOMENT THEY LOSE ALL RIGHTS as far as I am concerned! Hopefully someone will "TAKE CARE" of HER while she is in prison..the way Jeffery Dahmer was "taken care" of!

It has been my observation that kiddie rapists do get off with a slap on the wrist. Unfortunately, children don't seem to be "important" to those making and enforcing the laws (probably because a percentage of THEM are pedophiles and abusers). It disgusts me.

I believe that if children were seen to be the single greatest resource the world has, and protected accordingly, maybe the number of really messed up adults would be minimal.

I think it's disgusting.  If anything, she should be punished for two crimes instead of one - getting drunk around her baby (neglect) and the gruesome murder.  That poor baby - bless her little heart.

If they won't give her the death penalty (my choice would be to put HER in a microwave and let her fry), then let her walk free.  With any luck, a mob of angry parents would hunt her down and give her what she deserves.  I'd gladly travel from Boston to OH to participate.
