Ohio mom spared death penalty for microwaving baby?

These sad stories never end... Why are people doing these things?

It's utterly appalling.  I don't think any of us could come up with any kind of reason why someone would do something like this.  Apparently she didn't have a psychotic disorder at the time of the crime or else the defense would have gone for insanity.  The best they came up with was she was drunk.  Um, many of us have been drunk but wouldn't even think of doing such a horrific thing.  If a father had done this to his baby you can bet your bottom he would have been sentenced to death.

We live in a sick sick world..It is hard to look at the news. Everyday something new. Mothers need to start loving their kids more instead of their alcohol,drugs, their men, and themselves. I think today in Arizona  they found a 8 and 9 year old boy living in a closest filled with f***s in their grandparents house..sick sick sick

Beggars belief - how big must that microwave have been, and how drunk do you have to be to put a baby in it?

Isn't that a travesty of justice? Those 12 idiots couldn't agree to give that monster the Death Penalty? And her family loves and supports her? How could they? Doing that is a crime beyond the pale, IMO. Even the Death Penalty would have been too good for her. I hope she has nightmares every night for the rest of her miserable life about that baby dying in that oven.
