  1. the x rays looked fine but h**l let the buckeyes know how he feels later in the week

  2. X-rays were negative so he should be okay.

  3. It is unclear to what extent Beanies injury is. The X-rays will not be able to show any damage that may have been done to the ligaments, tendons, or other soft tissue of the foot.  We should know more tomorrow but I am hoping this is not a season ending injury. It was good to see Beanie walking, although in a boot.  With a serious ligament or tendon injury I am pretty sure he would not be walking under his own power.

  4. I heard a pop when I sprained my ankle last week - no break and no tendon damage.

A pop can be a great multitude of things.  I hear a "pop" when I crack my knuckles.

Here is what we know -

    1.  It is not broken

    2.  It is not a toe injury

    3.  Wells has received repeated treatment on the injury

    4. He was in a boot on the sideline 20 minutes after the injury.

Taking these things into account, and considering the reports from at least 5-6 different players saying they all are in good spirits about the injury per Beanie's reaction, I would say its a sprain to the plantar fascie or some other foot muscle/tendon.

That type of injury can be nagging, but typically, with enough taping and adrenaline, is easily overcome.

Basically, if he can get his mind right, this injury looks to only effect him Sunday through Friday.  I am not a Dr., but the type of boot Beanie had on does not support much except for midfoot and toe injuries - and a person that is serisouly inured usually doesnt show up on the sideline 2 minutes later with smiles on his face.

  5. The guys injury is the least of my concern. What really concerned me is that every year this team is rank on the top 25 playing against division 2 teams. Who is doing the ranking? They need their heads examined.

  6. I have absolutly no idea sorry!

  7. Im sure you heard the x rays were negative, so his status is day-to-day. If I was Tressel I would sit Wells out for all the Ohio game and get Pryor more involved.

  8. They aren't releasing any info until monday. Personally, I think he is done for a while. He said he heard it pop, which usually is a tendon separating. Very serious indeed.
