  1. sorry 2 break it 2 u buddy, but u r in OHIO :[

There is no ocean (duh) how can there be surf!!

  2. WTF?? You do know that Ohio is umm landlocked right? Lake Erie, if you can stand the pollution has small 1 foot waves, I wouldn't call it surfing material, maybe tubing behind a boat material. Dude, you're in the wrong state. The ocean's about 8 hours east.

  3. youre out of luck haha i guess you can try to surf the great lakes or something

  4. bro i feel your pain.

I lived just south of huntington and my dad got a job transfer to illinois. It sucks so bad. Everybody in the midwest are *****. They all think they are surfers because they wear hollister. Losers man. It sucked so bad there that we moved back a few months ago.

It is totally rediculous there. I spent the entire time i was there trying to find the surfspots people were telling me about and there wasn't one. about once a year on lake michigan there is this one inlet that when the wind is right it makes breaks about the size of bolsa chica in july.

    Rediculous.

move home before the midwest mentality swallows you up.

    It's a terminal illness.

    btw it's avid. not abid.

  5. Okay Chris, sit down, breathe deep and relax, because what I have to tell you is going to be a little upsetting. Chris, THERE IS NO F___KING SURF IN OHIO!!!

I understand that there are some dedicated folks who go out on the rocky shores of lake Erie and surf during nasty winter storms. I have even seen some photos of them riding REAL waves. Of course, that comes around once every two or three years in 36 degree water with 25 degree air temps.

The Ohio Turnpike links to the Pennsylvania Turnpike to the New Jersey Turnpike. About 450 miles, $30 plus in tolls and you are on your way to some of the best Atlantic Coast breaks. Save your money for gas and tolls, and I'll see you in New jersey this summer. By the way, why did you move to Ohio? Are you on the run from the law?
