Ohio to Florida. Best Route?

Question

I am headed from Youngstown Oh. To Bradenton Fl. Anybody out there made the trip? I am trying to stay off the super slabs. Time is not a factor. Just want a nice relaxing safe ride.

Go to western PA and catch US 19 southbound.  US 19 ends just a few miles north of Bradenton.

call your local trucking company and make arrangements for you and your harley to be squeezed in with their cargo

The most scenic route is the Blue Ridge Parkway.  It is extremely curvy so only attempt it on a motorcycle when the weather is good (not in the rain).  If the weather turns bad, you can detour via Interstate 81 (which runs parallel to it) and then return to the parkway when the weather improves.
