  1. Ok, your belly button cannot fall off. They might have meant that the ring could fall off. Probably only if it got pulled really hard and ripped the skin.

Is it possible that it got caught on something while sleeping, or maybe twisted a weird way while sleeping and it cut the skin? Make sure you keep it clean, I would take care of it just like when you had it done initially. So if they had you using triple antibiotic or anything like that when you had it pierced, use that again. Just keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get infected. If there is any excessive redness, swelling, tenderness, or any puss in the piercing I would have the doctor take a look.

  2. Bellybuttons cannot fall off.

However, they may have been referring to the piercing falling out

This is highly unlikely, unless it is ripped out ( ouch ! )

Carry on cleaning it with salt water and it should be fine

You probably just knocked it in your sleep, so there's nothing to worry about.

See if you can change the ring for a bar, as they're less likely to get caught on clothing &can be faster to heal.

Good luck with your piercing ;] !

    xo

  3. I'm sure you just knocked it or something in your sleep.

I have my belly button pierced and i found that it was much easier to catch when I had a ring in. Maybe you should consider going to a piercing parlor and asking them to change it for a bar?

Personally i think bars look far nicer than rings and you won't catch it as much! You can get loads of cute ones with nice icons on them too!like dolphins and flowers and gems!

    hope this helps

  4. Haha, no dear, your belly button can't fall off. Piercings can be aggravated by all manner of things, from a sharp knock to tight clothes. Sleeping on your front can irritate it, as can washing it too vigorously. Navel piercings don't completely heal until around nine months after the initial piercing. Don't panic about a little bit of bleeding. Stick with the salt water soaks (make sure you're using sea salt!) and take some Zinc supplements to boost your immune system. If the bleeding persists, or if you notice any redness, swelling or discharge, go back to your piercer to see if there's anything wrong with the placement. Otherwise, keep taking care of it.
