In that case then, you should maybe inform the police/rail people as next time, the other peeps he goes to threaten might not be so lucky and can catch anythin off the junky {censored}.

Any threat or improper behaviour should be reported to first the on train crew (Conductor or Driver) the station staff if you cant see that or direct to the British Transport Police.

Even though it was only £2 you lost, it does not matter, the more these things are reported the better the Companies and Police will know what is going on, the more staff, CCTV, patrols etc will be used and forced to be used.

If you are in a modern train, most are covered by internal CCTV and those tapes can be pulled by the Police and the images are normally very good and clear.

If the train crew are still present they can check to see the train and you can point out the attacker, the crew can have Police waiting at the next station and have him arrested very quickly.

Even now you can still report the incident.

The railways have their own police force and most main line

stations have a police office,station staff would direct you to the office  or police station as you may sooner call it

  those who take this as only 2quid are the same low life as the bloke himself ..tobe approached on public transport is very worrying  you often find yourself leaving a train in a remote place unmanned station after dark and a long country lane to walk along on your own ..Other than large cities most town and country  stations are not in populated areas
