Page 151 of the Boxer Drivers Manual states 5.3 litres BUT I have only been able to get 2 litres back in after a total drain down.

Don't forget you will require TWO compressible copper washers one for filler plug, one for drain plug.

These washers are a "Use once and discard" type and need to be replaced every time you remove a gearbox drain or filler plug.
