Oil leak on yz 125 05 model?

ive got a yz 125 and oil is coming out of a pipe coming from the powervalve (i think) lol,is this ment to happen its even happening when its just been siting there

  1. its ok...its just unburnt 2 stroke oil...they all do it.


  2. Causes -

    --Needs a top end rebuild (cylinder, piston & rings) - the low compression won't fully burn the oil in the pre-mix and it accumulates in the exhaust port.

    --The pre-mix ratio is to thick with oil - 32:1 is normal, try 40:1

    --Using cruddy oil in the pre-mix - only use quality, brand, name, 2 cycle oil specificately for motorcycles - don't use c**p from department stores, or stuff from hardware stores used for chain saws.

    --Don't lug the engine (putt-putt around at idle speeds) - 2 stroke race bikes are ment to be reved wide open.

    --Remove the pipe and clean the oil out of it and the exhaust port of the engine.
