  1. 50:1 is the correct ratio for those omc engines. 1pt to 6 gals of gas use a good quality MARINE  oil from a marine motor manufacturer. I recomend omc but mercury makes a great oil too. the additive packages in quality oils ARE NOT AVAILABLE in the cheaper branded oils. ps do NOT use alcohol blended fuels in that engine(no more than 10%)


  2. 50 to 1

    I mix half a quart to six gallons for my portable tanks. A good rule of thumb is one quart to 12 gallons. That's really 48 to 1 but it's better to error on the side of caution.
