Question:

Oil of Oregano with Carvacrol?

I want to buy an oil of oregano oil and I know I need a product with around 85% carvacrol. There are so many facts out there that I don't know which ones are BS and which ones are not. I am finding products that are much lower in the Carvacrol. Some are mixed with other oils. This stuff is expensive and I want to be sure the get the right one. Anyone have some expertise with this? Thank you so much for your time!

  1. Funny Ive been looking up oil of oregano all morning myself. I found that it is a natural alternative for anitbiotics . Im trying to kill off a serious sinusitus brochitus infection quick. this stuff sounds pretty good. What I found convenient and price for me is , they are at GNC for $19.00 @100 count. The Carvacrol is only 60% , but hey Ill take two. I need something quick and affordable , I think GNC will work for me . Ill have some by this afternoon.as opposed to ordering online....I dont think the other oils are anything to worry about its the Carvacrol that is the important ingredient.

  2. I recommend Now Foods brand. These people do their homework and produce a quality product, usually at a lower price than the 4-color-glossy competition. They also use Gas Chromatography/Infra-red Spectroscopy to verify content. Here is a link to read about their pre-diluted Oregano oil: http://www.nowfoods.com/?action=itemdeta... This brand is sold only through health food stores. They won't sell to Walgreens or other discount houses.
