They are making only a small fraction of what the countries in the developed world make, and have been making for decades. Why would you expect oil rich nations to  be more charitable than we are.

Always been tat way  ,  Commercialism and capitalism.   No such thing as fairness.  As the poor in Africa do not contribute to the profits and wealth of the  big corporations  they are just unnecessary pieces of humanity  who can live or die,  doesn't matter,     It's the way of the world unfortunately   .
