Large oil spill recovery efforts actually do more harm than good to the marine life and habitats...to what extent do you think clean up recovery efforts should come involved?

Last night my mom spilt our bottle of precious extra virgin olive oil and I was so mad I was like "You clean that oil spill up you filthy wench!!"
