Oil stuff For 92 Geo Storm

I have a 92 Geo Storm. It is my first car and i need to know what kind of oil it takes, What kind of oil filter it has, and how many quarts of oil it needs to fill it up.

I'm not up to date on that car to know what oil filter it take's but you can go to wal- mart are a auto parts store you will be able to find the right oil filter ,It's going to either take 41/2 or 5 quarts of oil and i'm sure a 10W 30 motor oil will work just fine .

Goto the Auto parts store the people there will be able to help, Just go when they are less busy in the morning or before 3PM.

I would first check the owners manual. If you do not have it, look online.

If I remember correctly, it's 10w30 and 4.5 quarts needed. The oil filter you need to look up at a parts store or at your local walmart.

I'm sure 10w30 or 10w40 will work fine.

Any place that sells oil filters will have books or small electronic devices allowing you to determine which of the oil filters they sell will work with your car.  

I don't know the oil capacity.  It might be printed on a sticker under the hood or something.  

But if you're going to have this car any length of time, and want to do any work on it yourself, you should at least get a Haynes manual for it.  It would certainly have this information, and a lot of other useful things.  

If Autozone or the equivalent doesn't have the manual for the 92 Geo Storm, you can get one on Ebay.
