If the NHL continues to outsource teams outside of Canada and the American northeast, even to a forward-thinking, coffee-guzzling community like Seattle, then they will fall and then my beloved Islanders will never win a Stanley Cup, which they will soon. Also look at the Seattle Supersonics of the NBA last year. They spent a lot of time during the draft rebuilding the team only to have them move to Oklahoma City.


  2. The new owner of the Oilers  just bought a large piece of land in Edmonton and has applied for several building permits within the city to house the new arena for the franchise.  As the current owner makes a ton of money, and is Edmonton born and raised, the Oilers ain't going anywhere.
