Oily hair? Do you not use Shampoo or conditioner?

some people say dont use conditioner and some say dont use shampoo. Which is it?

Well since you have oily hair, wash your hair with soap ( once or twice). Make sure you use shampoo and conditioner after or your hair will be sticky.

well you have to use shampoo to clean your hair, probably not conditioner.

oily hair is produced my an overactive skin gland. shampoo your hair but not with a regular shampoo you probably have to switch over to a CLEANSER. The best one i have used is either Kenra, which is rather expensive or aubrey organics.

You can either skip your conditioner or use an oil free conditioner.

Use your cleanser for 7 days straight without conditioner than try something gentle like Paul Mitchell Shampoo One Gentle

Cleansing, use this every other day.

Do not use soap to wash your hair!

just try shampoos that ppl dont use because they dry out your hair. look for shampoos that have SODIUM LAUREL SOLFATE. its a detergent they put in shampoo to make it sudsy that ppl found that it dries their hair but for you itll work fine.

Not 2 sure...i think conditioner because that makes it shint and less tangly. Try washing your hair more..this might wash all the oils out...not sure though..look for a less oily treatment

i have well had oily hair and i stoped using conditioner and now i have absouluty no prblems and its cheaper not buying and conditioner

I have verrrrry greesy/oily hair.  But you have to use shampoo to get out dirt and excess greese, or it will build up. I suggest trying paul mitchell shampoo 2, or a cheap vo5 clarifing shampoo only, with out conditioner.  But if you wish to use both shampoo and conditiner for a cheap price try vo5 green tea shampoo, it works great, also you can try herbal essense for color treated hair in the pink bottel, (even if you do not have dyed hair) it still works great.

also another tip, do not put your hair directly up in a pony tail after you wash it, it causes hair to get greesier faster!

OMG AND DO NOT USE SOAP TO WASH YOUR HAIR!!!!!
