  1. Hi!

    I live in Turin :)

So,Turin is a Small city, but really really nice!!

If you want to see some cultural place you can go to Egyptian Museum (it's GREAT),Cinema's Museum at Mole Antonelliana then you must ( ;-) ) go to Venaria Reale.

Venaria in small town close to Turin with a beautiful Royal Palace!!! (you can take a special coach at station of Turin Porta Susa or buses number 72 or 72/ in the same place.)

another places are: Stupinigi,Castello del Valentino...

If you want a name of Good&Economic restaurant surely I suggest you the “Antica Bruschetteria Pautasso” address: Piazza Emanuele Filiberto 4.

In the same area there are many cocktail-bar,pubs,restaurants...

If you want a English or Irish pub you have to go to Corso Vitorrio..there're 3 pubs.

Unlucky, the weather isn't good in these days...

My E-mail is citizenerasedmuse@yahoo.it if you want some information about Turin, feel free to contact me!!!

    Sorry for my bed English!

  3. Visit Turin and get smashed in Milan clubs, buy clothes in Milan..drink..I don't know..I forgot..here the weather is awful. so take warm clothes too with you!

  4. pack all the essentials.

    1. appropriate clothes, depending on season.

    2. money, makesure you have enough money to get you by until you get to a effpost machine.

    3. take things to do on plane. e.g. a good book.

    4. if you havn't already got an itinerary, write one out. this way you can feel more organised and sfae.

    5. say good bye to friends.

    a tip:

if you are on economy, do not put your seat back until you want to go to sleep, becuase otherwise if you've already put it back, when you go to sleep you will still feel up right.

    trust me you do.

  6. take a brolly... it's been raining cats and dogs in the north..

lovely and hot here in the south tho'

    buon viaggio.......

  7. See the Egyptian museum in Turin, visit the Modern Art Gallery, visit Palazzo Reale and the garden, go to La Mole Antonelliana and see the Cinema Museum, the Museum of Mountains is worth seeing.

Go up on the roof of the Duomo in Milan, shop, see the museum in La Scala. Go to Naviglio Grande for the cafes. Go to the Latin American Festival. Go see the Last Supper (you need a reservation though). Go to the Brera. Take the tour of San Siro.

Bring an umbrella - we've had at least some rain almost every day for the past 5 weeks.

  8. Drink a lot.  Smoke a lot.  Sit in outdoor cafes eyeing up women (presuming you're a bloke) in sunglasses with an expresso.

Above all, have a fantastic time.

  9. well, go for a stroll on Vittorio Emanuelle in Milan, go see Piazza del Duomo, the most beautiful church in the world, then to the right you have Galleria V. Emanuelle, great shops, plus go to Piazza Roma and see parts of the old Walls and Gates of Milan,  visit Castello Sforzesco and Piazza San Babila and don't forget ... THE LAST SUPPER, visit the church. Turin??? Better go to Genova, see the see and the Gulf, which is great.

        Enjoy Italy.

  10. Milan?  SHOPPING!!  But you can also go see The Last Supper by DaVinci.  Usually a 48 hr wait, so book it as soon as you arrive.  It's about  ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚‚¬6 to get in to see it.  There's also La Scala if you want to see an opera, again, you need to book in advance.  Go see the Duomo, there's usually something going on in the piazza in front.  Enjoy it!  i'm heading for Pisa/Florence/Siena on Thursday!!!

  11. Honestly, you are bit on the late side making your sightseeing plans.   Your research should have been done days, if not weeks ago.   At this point I would suggest getting to a bookstore, picking up a couple of tour books for Italy and reading them on the plane.

  12. Hi!

    I'm from Milan.

In Milan I suggest you to visit:

    - Duomo /Galleria Vittorio Emanuele with its shops

    - Viale Torino

    - Teatro Alla Scala

    - Castello Sforzesco

    - Chiesa Santa Maria delle Grazie - Cenacolo Leonardo da Vinci

    - Stadio Meazza

    - Corso Buenos Aires (For The Shops)

    - Via della Spiga and Viale Montenapoleone (For Great Fashion Shops...Armani, Versace, Dolce Gabbana.. exc...)

    - For the night...I Suggest You Pubs in Brera (Club2 - Karaoke+Dance)...Navigli (Planet 50 - Dance, Sacrestia, Angelo Nero, Roxanne, Crystal, Nidaba, Colony), Colonne di San Lorenzo (Crepes) near Via Torino, Ippodromo, Idroscalo (Punta dell'Est, there Are Pubs With Swimming Pools And Beaches), Acquatica (Is a Pub-Dance with the Swimming Pool and The Beach!).

    - As Restaurant I Suggest You " la Bonaccia" (for Pizza or Foccaccia...I suggest you Focaccia With Salmone) Via Marghera 8De Angeli Underground), Il Gabbiano (In Duomo...galleria Vittorio Emanuele Near Ricordi Mediastore, for Piadina), Milwaukee Diner (www.milwaukeediner.it ) a 50's Pub, and Cowboys Guest Ranch (www.cowboys.it ) near Voghera or Memphis Pub (Via Altaguardia 17 for the Bruschette).

    - I suggest you also to visit Como (Very near to Milan) and Grazzano Visconti a beautiful little medieval country near Piacenza (they have wonderful cousine).

Anyway...If you eat in the centre prices are very high!and oftern couisine is not very "Italian". In De Angeli which is not really in the centre, but not very far but is a good street there are many good restaurant in which you eat with 15 euros many good things and very good Ice Cream!!!

    Have a Nice Holiday!!!!
