Question:

Ok, I'm sure you're tired of the 'acne' and 'black head' questions, but...?

My blackheads are becoming worse. They used to be open and on the surface of the skin, which made them easier to extract but a few months ago they sunk under the skin making the skin around it rise and leaving these lumps on my face. It's embarrassing. My self esteem has took a plunge and I'm terrified of meeting new people because I'm afraid they're staring at the lumps in my skin. I had pictures taken but they didn't come out well enough for you to see what I'm talking about. I have a blackhead extractor, which was recommended in a previous question I asked about this subject, but I have to press down so hard to get the blackheads out and then it leaves such dark red marks that takes more than a day to go away and make-up to cover it up just clogs my pores. Is there anything that can help? Really... not something you've just seen on TV that you THINK might work. Is there someone out there who's going through what I'm going through, or HAS gone through it and have found something that has worked for them?! Please, I'm extremely shy as it is and this is only making things worse.
