Ok, I've never really worn make up before.... I need advice.?

Question

I am in high school and I've never really worn make up and I don't really want to wear a lot.. so would it look bad if I just l wore eyeshadow and mascara, but no eye liner. I've always been told that I have big eyes (that's the point of eyeliner right??? To make you look like you have big eyes) So I wasn't really planning on wearing eyeliner. Would that look ok, do you have any suggestions?

invest in a pressed powder to apply where you shine such as your nose and forehead.

wearing eyeshadow and mascara without eyeliner is perfectly fine. thats what i do everyday. try matching your eyeshadow to your outfit or doing a half and half combination. i like doing a sea green color on the inner halves of my eyes and a soft brown/taupe color on the outer halves for a fun look and the apply one coat of mascara after curling my lashes.

try  a little mascra and a light lip gloss and let that be it..dont start with heavy foundation if you are not use to and and dont want to go the restof your life adicted to it. remenber less is more

all you need is mascara, eye shadow, and lip gloss.

do black mascara.

do pink or brown eye shadow, maybe even purple

do pink lip gloss, or a shimmer

i have fairly big eyes as well and i wear eyeliner in the corner of my eye only. ( the outer corners) and i think it would look great, maybe a little bit of blush sometimes too

I hate to wear eye liner and mascara but that is just a personal preferance.   Yes it would look just fine without the eye liner.

Mascara and eyeshadow should work.

I haven't really worn make-up before either, but I've read a lot of things on this site so......

IF YOUR CONCERNED YOU HAVE BIG EYES:

If you want to get your eyes smaller you should apply BROWN eyeliner around your whole eye( top and bottom) (and black is to thick)

AND

You should def. use mascara, because it makes people notice your eyes more, because it frames them.

FOR THE LIPS:

Try to make it match as close to you lip color as possible, but nothing too extreme.

Eye Shadow:

Green Eyes

purple  dark red  gold  black white (maybe)

Blue Eyes:

brown white light blue purple pink (HOT)

Brown:

Anything Really

Oh yeah, eye shadow and mascara is just fine.... maybe a touch of lip gloss and that would be great! I don't think you really need eyeliner if you have big eyes, I mean you would look great without it. Good Luck!!!

I think it looks fine without eyeliner. I sometimes curl my lashes then coat them with mascara if I'm in a hurry and don't have time for liner. Make sure you get all the way to the root of the lash though, or it might little funny.

You might try using a pale lipgloss or color to add a little color, too. =)

You don't need a lot of make up to look good. Most of the people already said this but that's because it's true.  Here's what I do that's quick and still looks good. Put on a light shimmery shaddow over your whole eye and brow bone,  Brown eye liner just in the outer corners of your eyes and black mascara.  Light pink blush on your cheeks and a nice shiny lip gloss, even if it's no color.  I read somewhere that putting brown eyeliner in the outer corners of the eyes flatters every eye color and type.  You should just play around with your makeup and see what you like when you have free time
