  1. What got me through all nine months was putting a long pillow (that i got at a walmart) between my legs and laid on my side and used it also as a head pillow. It was the only way i could fall asleep. Also DO NOT lay on your back at 36 weeks, it can cause pressure on a main blood line going to your heart. I mean if you lay on it for a little its ok, but with so much wait from the baby sleeping on your back is very back so be careful. Hope you can get a good night sleep!!! :)

  2. At this point I would lay however and whatever enabled me to actually sleep.

If it is comfortable- DO IT!

Not that it matters much because you still have to pee 100 times a night.. LOL

  3. the best way to sleep is on your left side with a pillow between your legs because it helps increase blood flow to you and the baby. but really on either side is best. if you lay on your back you are putting about 60 pounds of pressure on your organs and your back so i dont recommend doing that. Good luck with you and your baby.

  4. On your side or back only! You can not lay on your stomach for obvious reasons (the baby). Getting a body pillow makes sleeping much easier as you can sleep on your side with the pillow supporting you head to knees.

  5. Sleep however you're comfortable.  Even if that's on your back, you won't hurt the baby- you'll just wake up and roll over if you start feeling funny.

I have a body pillow and lean half my body on that and sleep the rest on my stomach.

  6. There's not much that's comfortable as far along as you are. Try getting a body pillow and snuggling up to it with one leg and your belly over it. I had to put two pillows on the other side of me where my belly and knee would be so that when I rolled over at night I would have them there. Good luck!

  7. Which ever way is comfortable for you. as you get bigger i know it gets harder to sleep. usually by my 32 week of pregancy I begin sleeping sitting up... good luck on finding the right position

  8. im 35 weeks pregnant and cant stand night time i got  used to sleeping on either side with a pillow in between my legs its helped alot and now i get a bit more rest rather than tossing and turning best of luck

  9. When I was pregnant I would lay on my side and put a pillow under my tummy and a pillow in between my knees. Or I would hike up my leg and rest it on my boyfriend sleeping beside me. This was the best way for me to relieve the pressure off my back and from my tummy hanging. Also, I missed sleeping on my stomach so much that I would lay for a short while in the "baby" position (basically butt up in the air and legs slightly curled up under you and face down) just to get relief!

  10. i don't know what I would do without my snoozer pillow.  I typically start on my left side with the pillow between my legs and under my head...after a few hours, my hip starts to bother me so I just flip to the other side....I rotate that way for the rest of the night.  Even if laying on your back was recommended, I haven't been able to even recline on my back since my second trimester....my heart starts racing and i have difficulty breathing from all the pressure....

  11. At this point you will have to find a comfortable position for you. Use pillows if needed. I was always most comfortable half way on my side and back with pillows against my back.

  12. You should lay on your side with a pillow or something propped between your legs for support. Your back is not a good position because it can put pressure on the baby's cord and your back. Also you shouldn't lay on your stomach.

I had high blood pressure with my first and was told by the dr that laying on my left side made the blood flow to the baby better and would lower my blood pressure.

    Hope this helps
