  1. The Earth tells me "get a day job first there, bud".

    -I have spoken.

  2. Hope you r not playing for real money.

  3. That depends.  Assuming your opponent doesn't have the Ace and something else of spades (Like A-7 of spades).  The opponent may also have a King something or flopped a straight or has a 4, 5 or 6 or King 4/5/6.

Assuming he doesn't have those hands, any spade (9 left), any King (3 left), any 3 (3 left), any deuce (3, since the 4th is a spade), and any 7 (3, since the 4th is a spade).  That would be 21 outs, although I'm sure plenty of those outs would not win you the hand...Any pocket pair above 6s (assuming one of them wasn't a spade) would lover your outs down to a seven (4), a deuce (4), or a spade (7 left after the seven and deuce of spades)...for 15 outs.

By the way, you need to tell us what your opponent has, otherwise this could go on forever...there are so many random hands, a book would have to be written...

You need to read a David Sklansky book that talks about all of these theories along with pot and implied odds and outs.  That would good be a $25 investment.

  4. 8 outs to make a straight...9 to make a flush... 15 total (the 2 and 7 of spades would have made both the straight and flush)

  5. You hit a spade, your good to go.

    Hit an ace..

    Hit a 7 8...

You had a nice chance to hit that too, it would be over 30 percent.
