We have an iPod touch, it was given to us by a friend at our dads' work, and NOTHING came with it but the thing itself. We have the thing that conects it to the computer, and charges it, but, we CAN'T download any music onto it...can anybody give me any info on why that is?

  1. You need to have a USB cord that goes from the computer to the iPod. You might be able to pick one up at the apple store. And if you do have one of those... you may need to reset the iPod to the default settings? Did you make an account at iTunes for your iPod?

    Good luck....

  2. Do u have internet???? cuz u have to have itunes and if you do then u just load a cd into your library and after u loaded it and named the playlist u drag it right under the column that says ipod touch if u dont got the internet and itunes then ur screwed

  3. You need to install this thing called iTunes from the Apple website. Its the software that iPods use to sync media to and fro with the computer. Its pretty simple to use and is rather self explanatory at first glance so just poke around a bit and you'll know what to do. :D

  4. you have to unlock your ipod go to your ipod menu and at the bottom right before it shows how much memory is used there will be 3 things you can check the read

open itunes when this ipod is connected

sync only checked songs and videos

    Manually manage music and videos

check the last one and you should be able to

if that doesnt work try upgrading your itunes
