Back when Yahoo changed the I-Frame formats, they said that they could no longer support it, thus changing the format to something else. Would anyone happen to know how I can find out what it was changed to? The thing of it is, In one of my groups, I had an Amber Alert ticker that scrolled across my group description area. Since the change, it no longer works, neither do the midi tunes codes. I need that ticker back, BAD!!

I can deal without having the tunes, but the code for that ticker is especially instrumental in my group! I thought that if I could send Yahoo the original Code Amber Alert Ticker code, that perhaps they could write a new code using that, that would MAKE IT WORK in the group's present format, and then email me the revised code. I hope somebody can help me on this or suggest how to get in touch with the proper Yahoo people that could help me. Thanks all.

  1. iframes was not changing or being replaced, Yahoo simply disabled it. there was talk about allowing something to the like of iframes, but the malicious scripts trolls were adding ruined it for all.

some html codes may had been effected by the removal of iframes. sometimes you need to play with the code or reformat it for codes to work. some just wont. this code uses java script, so it isn't going to work.

I'd have to play with this when I get more sleep. I couldn't get it to work on myspace either. that's too bad, this ticker would be a nice add to groups. although the iframes was beaten to death back when, it's worth another suggestion:
