  1. Good luck with that.

(You've never heard the phrase "Built Ford Tough"?)

  2. You will have to pay for your ford even if they go broke, but I don't think ford will go broke.

  3. ford motor is not actually doing the financing, a bank or finance company or someone is financing the car.  so it is irrelevant if ford motor goes broke or not...and im guessing not, they have weathered tough times before.

now, if your finance company or bank goes broke...you still wont get the car for free.  the loan would simply be sold to another finance company, and you would be notified to start mailing your checks to a new address.  but you'll still keep paying!

loans are frequently sold anyway, regardless of the finances of the company.  but in case of finance company bankruptcy, they would either be selling the loans voluntarily as a way to get some money, or involuntarily thru a bankruptcy judge's order as a way to get money to settle the companies' creditors claims.

  4. You bought a Ford? Whatever; if they go broke (the h**l they will), you still gotta keep up the payments to the finance company or they'll do you a favor and take it back.

I bought me a new Ford once, a model T. h**l, they packed the seats with Spanish moss. Took me nigh on three months to git them chiggers outta my butt.

  5. You'll go broke first. It's a Ford...
