Does that tell any of my fellow Australians that if I had posted it here I would have got a better response?

The Americans and British etc don't get our news either at the same time as us or they don't get it at all, so who can blame them for not answering?

There is an Australia category under Travel...not sure how many people populate that section though.  Might be worth giving that a try since all you will get here is abuse if its not AFL related!!!

PS:  I hold no judgment on the father - there are too many conflicting facts.  I'll wait until after the trial!

I am Australian too but this is the first time I've had a chance to check YA today. I was at work - maybe everyone else was too. What was your question? Let me guess - do you think he was guilty? Yes, I do and although (or because?) I am a Christian, I hope he burns in h**l. Incredible to those of us who would give our own lives for our kids that there are some parents evil enough to kill their own kids to get back at the other parent.

Lord Almighty...most Americans are in bed at this time..save us insomniacs. You can hardly blame us for NOT answering your question. Don't take this is a personal effrontery. They just may all be truly asleep. Plus it really helps when you include the link in your question or you could make your profile accessible while the Question is open. Don't tell us about a question you ask and the give us a dead end!

I guess the crux of the problem is there is no division of current events into countries as there is for sport and travel.  Politics and current events are not divided in that way.

(The background to the question, for our international respondents, is that people have been using this section for Australian current events and there is now vigorous debate about whether this is an appropriate forum for questions)
