  1. Yes, we do!  Is that weird?  Funny how we eat different things, huh?

  2. personally i eat pb&j with j as in jam. i like it better bc it's made from real fruit and is natural.

  3. I prefer peanut butter, honey, and banana sandwiches!

  4. lol yes they do.

people in canada, eat them to. Jelly as in jam lol.

  5. They're wonderful especially when you grill them till they're nice and crispy on a flat iron. Delicious.

  6. Yes we do and you should try it some time because it is extremely good.

Try Smuckers Jelly, and any peanut butter works.

  7. Yes we do and most of us love it some people eat just jelly sandwiches but people like myself like them both together!

But i'm surprised you have never heard of it! ♥

  8. Yes, it is standard kid food.  Jelly is like jam or preserves - fruit boiled with sugar and pectin.

  9. Yes, we do. The jelly that is refered to isn't gelatine. It's more like jam. The thought of a peanut butter and gelatine sandwich doesn't appeal to me too much either.

  10. Where are you from? And what kind of goofy things do you eat?

People from all over the world eat snake, lizards, turtle eggs, embryonic bird eggs, beetles, insects of all kinds, etc...

Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches pale into insignificance when compared to these!

  11. The word "Jelly" is not always the case. Most of the people I know use jam or preserves. This is made from fruit and tastes a bit better. We also eat peanut and banana sandwiches.

  12. im not sure if jelly/jam is artificially flavored. but jelly and jam are made from fruits such as grapes, strawberries, and blueberries just to name a few. its not like we're eating petroleum jelly if that's what you think. and yes we do eat them and they taste really good. my favorite kind is strawberry jelly and margerine on toasted bread.

  13. yes. and sometimes i add things to mine like, banana's, marsh mellows, chocolate, and butter.

  14. umm yeah...

i know ...it is ew squishy

but did u know it not THAT kind of jelly it is the jam kind....plus i think u r think of jello.?

by the way im not allowed to eat gelatin u almost made me shock when u said jelly has gelatin...

  15. Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches are an American Staple!!! I Love them with A huge cold glass of milk and a dill pickle! Concord Grape Jelly is my favorite. These sandwiches are as American as a Hot Dog and soda or an Apple Pie!

  16. I absolutely love them.  But the jelly I use is really fruit preserves, more like jam.  Regular jelly has real fruit juice in it, but no chunks.  The chunks of fruit make it better!

If you've never tried it, then you should!  It might sound weird at first, but all the flavors mix together really well!  It's a childhood favorite here!

  17. yeah definitely it's one of the most popular sandwiches here. I'm allergic to peanuts so I eat it with almond butter which can be bought at a health food store. It's really delicious!

  18. YES, we really eat them.  Jelly, as in thickened fruit and juice, stewed down and sweetened, and put into jars.  Peanut Butter, like peanuts crushed into a craemy consistency.  Each spread on a slice of bread, then the bread is put together.  Best washed down w/ a glass of cold milk.  You shoudl try it.

  19. Jams and preserves are called Jelly in the states....What is referred to as Jelly in the uk is known as Jello...or Gelatin...in the states.

So no we do not eat peanut butter and gelatin sandwiches  in the states...

  20. Yeah, I love peanut butter and jelly, so do my kids.

  21. yeah, but it's jelly as in crushed grapes with some type of sugar mixed in, not gelatin like jell o

  22. yes. although i am not sure what flavored gelatine is.

we also drink our beer cold, and we dont put "U's" where they do not belong.

just jelly, fluff and peanut butter, just peanut butter are also popular.

  23. not gelatin jelly...jelly as in jam jelly..i guess it is a little more like gelatin but its not gelatin..

and it is awesome to eat..

  24. yes. grape jelly and peanut butter i prefer. i rarely eat it anymore.

  25. The word "jelly" in other countries means aspic or flavored gelatin. In America, jelly is a term we use for a sweet, usually fruit based, spread that is like jam but without any fruit pieces in it.

Yeah, an aspic and peanut butter sandwich does sound disgusting, though. Not something anyone would enjoy!! : D

  26. Yes, sadly we do. Personally, I think it is really disgusting. The Jelly makes your bread soggy and the peanut butter gets stuck in your mouth. I guess I'm not a true american...!

  27. No, as you can see from all the posts, its just not the hip thing to eat any more, we are all to busy going to drive through starbucks and getting fake tans at tanning salons.

  28. Grew up on them.

No, jelly isn't flavored gelatine.  It's jam or preserves using just the juice, not the whole fruit.

And although we call it peanut butter and jelly, it can be jam or preserves.

  29. I'm not a big jelly fan, so in our house we do peanut butter and fruit sandwiches.  Banana and blueberry are my favourites, always on whole wheat or multigrain or sunflower bread.

Our big issue is... smooth or crunchy, and we're a mixed marriage.  I like crunchy but my husband says it's like having toenails mixed into the pb.  He likes smooth, which I find boring and bland.

  30. Yes, it is quite good.

    Jelly as in fruit spread.

I make homemade strawberry jam using fresh strawberries and a product called sure jell that is a thickening agent.

    It makes the best pbj!

Sometimes I even mix honey with my peanut butter and spread it on bread. It's delicious!

  31. No, not jelly as in gelatine...jelly as in jam.  LOL!!
