So america is in debt to what $9 trillion. So is that just government spending? So in reality we just have our own personal and/or company debt and other then that we are creating $14 trillion a year in the economy.

So basically if we just get rid of the government and/or their stupid spending, we would be flipping rich with a $14 tril economy. Plus we would keep $3 tril of it because our government takes that much from us.

Does this include the trading deficit

Is this accurate at all?

  1. It is convenient to be ignored.  You have a good idea to get rid of the government that will be opposed by those responsible; Republicans, Democrats, investors, and owners.  The 2 ruling parties are so intertwined in money that removing themselves will mean financial death to them as investors and onwers will select a party to keep them were they are: Affluent and Powerful.  They have laws created or changed to favor them.

Whistleblowers and activist are harassed and jail by law enforcement.

Even CIA and FBI that become whistleblowers have their careers ruined by their superiors.

Money and power are an addiction once tasted people will do anything to keep it.

  2. we didn't think on lots of issues they made us to think about dock tape, color of threats, weapon of mass destruction's, lots of people retirement savings was stolen (ENRON) so we were busy looking for ghosts while oil companies and partners in white house pocket all we had,and going to leave and have a wonderful rich life and laugh at us and soldiers who  died in IRAQ for their profit

  3. Works for me

  4. I wish it would work that way. However, even if we eliminated the Government, the CEO's of Greed would take even more. Last year the top 3 CEOs "earned" more than 1 BILLION DOLLARS ($1,000,000,000). J.C. Penney figured that the head of the company should be paid 20 times what the working stiff got.

Yes, the deficit is merely FEDERAL GOVERNMENT spending. The last I knew, California had its own sizeable deficit.

And, yes, it is for stupid spending, including the ridiculous war in Iraq against a democratic, civilized country.

IF you include the deficits of the Feds, the States, the Counties, the Cities; add in indebtedness of companies and corporations; add to all that the indebtedness of individuals, the DEFICIT is many times that.

So far, with the exception of JFK, only Republicans have wanted to give any of the money back to the people. The Dems keep wanting to take more, like greedy CEOs.

But, of course, it will not work; any gun that I can buy will not be a deterrent to bin Laden, North Korea, China, Cuba, Russia, Iran...

So, we need the Government, but WE are supposed to be the boss of the Government, NOT the other way around.

If enough Americans would protest this stupid wasteful spending, SOMETHING would be done. After all, protests ended Viet Nam's war.
