Ok, REALLY random question about blue whales...?

My friend told me this, but I'm PRETTY sure it's not true.

Apparently there's a certain spot deep down in one of the oceans, that if a blue whale swims through it, it can change it's gender at will.

Like I said im pretty sure it's physically impossible but ya know, just checking.

...Is it?

It is so apparent that it is definitely not true. I don't even need to do a research on it. First of all, the 'certain spot' doesn't exist & its physically impossible for a whale to change its gender. But changing of gender is possible in some animals such as oysters.. ..
