Just wondering what everyone thought, i have a slight problem with a 1/4 of an orange and a slightly rotten one at that, hitting a windshield of some one else's vehicle and now they claim that it cracked it and they where only going about 10 mph around a turn.

  1. It is very possible.  Thats faster than you think, the impact must have been hard.

  2. why dont you try it out on your friends car again, and if it happens again than you know its true and they wont hafta pay more money for a windshield, but if it doesnt crack than they are lying to you and just want you to pay for their windshield

  3. SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM... tHAT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE, THE PIE ACE OF ORANGE PEALING OR A HOLE PEACE OF ORANGE WOULD BE TOO DENCE TO CRACK A WINDSHIELD,  IN OTHER WORDS TOO SOFT,

  4. very unlikely but not impossible if it hit it in just the right spot, used to install windshields on the assembly line and every once in awhile we would bust one because the glass wasn't as strong as the rest of them and when installing you had to slap the glass with your hand to set it in  basically the same spot all the time.

  5. it,s very unlikely. those windshields are tempered glass.
