  1. maybe its cause the way it was treated as a kitten.Try taking it to the doctor or the vetinarian.Sorry if my answer didn't help.

  2. That's properly the problem, If she's not spayed, Then girl cats can be aggressive its where she is in heat & wants a boy cat.

Shes peeing on everything because she wants to leave a scent.

  3. First, you should get your cat spayed. That would stop much of your problems. You just have to get her friendlier by spending time with her and going slow. I highly recommend spaying her.

  4. try getting her fixed.  get her to a vet.  perhaps she needs to be on some kind of medication.  some cats are just plain mean.  not sure what other kind of advise to give.  i would never put up with a mean cat.

  5. She just really needs to be fixed...

she is just probably fustrated (sexually) and confined to the house...

When a cat is fixed they become more soft tempered and caring..

It is better that you get it done anyway.... because if she does get out...oh boy.... then you'll really have a problem 3 months in...

If you love her try that first...

pounds are horrible and age means life or death...

the older they are (especially with a bad temper) the more likely they will be put to sleep...

Do you really want her euthanized?

Or even put into a bad home?

  6. It kinda sounds like she has a urinary tract infection.  Maybe she's mean cause she's in pain.

You really really need to get her neutered too, that will improve her mood.

If she's not already pregnant she soon will be and you don't need that.

Get her to the vet asap.

  7. get her spayed

A female cat will continually go in and out of heat, during warm weather/long daylight hour months, until they are bred or spayed.  During the winter months, heat cycles typically abate until springtime.

The female cat has 2-4 estrous periods every year, each lasting 15-22 days

  8. Some cats really are just that mean. The first cat I ever had was just evil! Try getting her fixed, that may help a lot.

And if the cat likes to be outside try getting a cat walk. That way she can be outside and protected at the same time.

Also some cats just don't like to be held. My aunt's cat is one of those, not to mention he's just way too big to hold in the first place. My cat likes to be held, but it depends on the day and her mood.

But fixing the cat may make a big difference. Where did you get the cat? If it had a previous owner that may be a big reason for the meanness. Cats do have memory, some of them good ones. She may distrust humans a lot. You can try to work with her, but slowly.

Cats can also sense when you don't like them too.

  9. get her fixed!

  10. It's your responsibility to get her fixed - it's not fair to anyone for her to have litters.  A cat needs to be disciplined just like a dog.  When she gets obnoxious just swat her lightly on the head with a newspaper and say no, then walk away.  No need for yelling or violence.  As for peeing, you need to provide a litter box or way for her to go outdoors whenever she wants.  I don't know how to housetrain an adult cat but dogs pick up on it quickly even as adults.  Unfortunately once their scent is all over the house, they tend to think is their toilet.

  11. Try getting her fixed she probably cranky..when girl cats on in heat its  sorta like a period..and also means theyre horny..tell your mon to get her FIXED!!

  12. There might not be anything you can do, some animal are just mean and there isn't a fix for that. I mean if you have tried all the training in the world then the cat isn't going to change and to keep her from attacking others she to be put in a pound.

  13. Get her fixed, first of all!  It will do so much to make her nicer!

Also, try rewarding any good behavior she has with treats, and ignore her when she starts acting mean.  It will reinforce her good times.

Best of luck, I have a mean one myself.  I got her a puppy to compete with for attention, and she loves any attention she gets now, and actually comes to me for it.  It's a nice change from growling all the time!
