Well there's a couple possibilities.  Maybe the positive was a false positive (although, that is considered pretty rare).  If it was a real positive, then maybe you had a chemical pregnancy and are now miscarrying.  That happened to me and there's really nothing you can do to save it.  If you hadn't been TTC and hadn't been paying attention, you probably would never know.  But since you do, you may want to call your doctor and tell them what happened.  Good luck and baby dust to you.

I'm so sorry, it does seem like you experienced a chemical pregnancy.  Home pregnancy tests have gotten so sensitive.  It's kinda like a slap in the face.  Sometimes I think we would be better off with out all of this high tech technology.  I wish you all the best
