  1. Usually over the counter medication won't help. Since the symptoms of menopause are caused by low levels of estrogen, then only one thing will help for sure: Estrogen. If you are feeling really bad, then you should talk with your doctor about taking supplementary estrogen or estrogen/progesterone pills (if you have your uterus). There are, of course, some risks, but depending on each individual case, the benefits of estrogen might be worth it, so talk to your Doctor about hormone replacement therapy. Good Luck!

  2. if you are in Canada, I reccommend seeing a Master Herbalist. Evening Primrose Oil works well, Dear Madam works well

Also the Klimakt-Heel protocol really helps, you should call and ask about Homeopaths in your area!

  3. homoeo drug 'LACHESIS 200-PILLS'    4 PILLS ONCE A  WEEK  ie: every sunday..

  4. I went to a health food store that a Dr. owned and it was recommended that I take a combination of herbs and non-GMO soy. It has in it:

    Geinstein-Rich Soy

    Black Cohosh Root extract

    Dong Quai Root extract

    licorice Root extract

    Chaste Tree Berry extract

It's called "Hot Flash" by: Source Naturals

It minimizes the frequency of hot flashes.

    Hope this helps.

  5. I have a friend who takes wild yam root for a hysterectomy. She swears by it. Personally, I am menopausal, and I am looking into bio-identical hormones. Get Suzanne Somers book about it. She offers a wealth of education, and many doctor referrals. The difference with bio-identical hormones is you will regain a more youthful health ( energy, hot flashes, thick hair, vaginal moisture etc) and there is no risk of cancers etc like with the synthetic stuff. You can personalize your hormone regimes with the doctor to find the exact combo you need for optimum health. It is worth looking into.

  6. Take primrose oil capsules, soy products, asparagus.

    Avoid caffeine and alcohol

  7. try Hot Flash Freedom, an all natural menopause relief. Especially designed to help you relieved from the discomfort of menopause symptoms.

  8. Black Cohosh didn't work for me either.  Evening Primrose helped somewhat.. I pretty much suffered thru it without anything.  I did find out later tho that once menopause hits your calcium does not absorb when you are low on estrogen.  I had a double whammy with chemo munching at my weakest points, my spine, ribs and hips.  I didn't realize my calcium wasn't absorbing due to the lack of estrogen.. so please be sure to look into that as well.. I have severe osteo now and that is something you can prevent with proper supplementation that is just right for you.

  9. go see an accupunturiest. they will do wonders. im 21 and im a firm beliver. i have even got my mom (who is goin through menopause) into it! no harm in tryin, hey it might even be good for your arthritis.

  10. you can try Our Distant Reiki Healing. This will certainly help you.

  11. Kammy, alot of that stuff doesnt work.  been there done that and im only 43.  I had to have the "surgery" at age 27 and since then my doc has put me on Estridol and Progestragin (so i cant spell lmao) estridol for menapause stuff like the hot flashes and such and the the progestragin for some lumps that were found in my right breast.  and no they werent  cancer.  they were simply cysts that had come up and taking the progestragin helps keep them from coming back and so far it has worked.  so maybe talk to your doctor and see what he/she says.  dont waste your money on the over the counter stuff that doesnt work.  good luck.
