Just wondering, what position would a player who wasn't really "tall", but almost 6 ft and 100kg or 220 pounds play?

Being very quick and running consistently 11.3 sec for the 100m at a lighter match weight of 89kg, before having knee surgery and bulking up in the gym, still with little body fat and being able to run 12 sec in the 100m and very quick over 40m.

Being very strong in the upper body and broad shouldered, yet still too light to really play Rugby League at the top level as a forward and too slow in the backs, what positions would someone who was "light" and fast play, than after knee surgery who bulked up but slowed down play? Just trying to understand your game.

  1. Wayne if i was coaching and assuming your skills were up to standard id say on a half forward flank rotating through the centre, your size and pace would be handy at the stoppages and on the forward line your size combined with pace would help you create space for shots on goal and ,make you hard to tackle.

Mate i know you think we are all little tackers in AFL but let me assure you ive played against plenty of blokes your size in senior footy. p.s im 5/10 and a gym fit 86kg

  2. i was about the same height weight and played every possie  over 20 years .... it depends on your ball disposal and your ability to read the play and the size of your heart... are you trying to under stand or trying get people fired up

  3. maybe up at half forward or center.

  4. I'd play you out of the forward line, probably as a crumbing forward who scouts around the front of the pack when the ball spills in a marking contest. You'd have the body strength and speed to break away from close taggers and pick up a couple of goals a match. I'd also give you a run through the centre just to allow the other midfielders to have a quick breather off the ball.

  5. hot dog seller

if only you could have passed the aptitude test

  6. If you were light and fast you would either play on the ball in the center or as a crumbing forward/goal sneak.

Considering you are a little slower now, you would play at one end of the ground, be it in the defensive 50 or the forward line.

Because you have bulked up the gym yet are still pretty quick, I would have you either leading out of the goal square (because you will probably be too fast for most full backs and even if they do catch you, you have the muscle to fend them off) or playing center half forward, which will free you up a little to push up the ground.

Really depends on your skill level as well. If you can't kick, id have you as close to goal as possible so your not kicking to far rather than having you at CHF where your shot on goal would be alot further out.

  7. in leauge maybe centre or second row, maybe even front row i dont think anyone cares about Aussie rules they are all the same size!!

  8. There are no rules except the talls play the ruck and the shorts are rovers any body else can play where ever they can read the game the best

  9. maybe you could be an umpire

    short fat and slow

  10. You wouldn't play any position because you are a computer nerd and have nothing better to do than post stupid comments on the AFL pages. Also no one would let you play on their team because you seem very annoying and quite stupid. You would need Friends to play Aussie Rules, so you are out of luck. Goodbye
