Ok, lets say two people wanted to live near each other, but one wants to live...?

Ok, lets say two people wanted to live near each other, but one wants to live in the middle of Maine, and one wants to be a Neurologist in Boston. Whats a good compromise?

Make a pro and con list for each place.. or start looking at other cities that you would both like to go to. I'm assuming you guys are partners and each want the other to move to their city?  Why not both start off fresh and go to a new place.

Even if you are not partners, you can still do the above.  Why not find an intersting place to go that neither of you have gone to before?
