Ok, my brother keeps coming in my room?

Question

So every time I leave for anything really. I come back and notice things missing or shifted around. like 5 pieces of gum missing and my guitar out of its case and whatnot.

When we got this house built my parents thought that it would hilarious to not put locks on or doors, so thats out of the question.

I've tried telling my parents cause it REALLY annoying me. but they said it was all in my head.

so

1. How can I make sure that he is coming in so i can prove it.

2. what little tricks can i do to keep him out in the future

and

3. how do i keep him from coming in when im gone all together?

Leave the door open slightly.

Get a bucket and fill it with custard dyed red.

Put it on top of the door.

When he opens it he will get covered in the dye, and you will be able to prove he's been in your room. And the custard is just a bonus.

[It's not necessary]

Oh and make sure your parents aren't home, so they don't open the door before your pesky brother.

Maybe you could get a lock for your guitar case also.

do the spy thing and use a thread to tie to the door and jam and when you find it broken call you mom and show her that your underwear drawer has been messed with

some said pretend you left and hide in your room then pop out when he comes in. thats a good idea. lol. also, when he leaves, go in his room and do something. buy a lock for you room yourself and put it on your door. make him think he broke something really important, and act like your really sad and dont know how it broke and make sure he feels really quilty about it, so then he will confess that he broke it, then your parents will believe you.

do you have a camera or a video camera if you do set it on video mode then leave the room when he comes in he well be taped hide it inder your bed or somthing and if your in your room get a chair and put it in the handle h**l never open it

Just buy a lock (from the hardwear store i think?) and put it on without your parents knowing. And buy 1 of those spy cams

If I'm wrong, and you want to prove it, tell him you put a spray on some of the things you think he touched last, and when he gets his hands wet, the spray will turn them blue.  Then get a glass of water, and see if he freaks.

if it's a little brother, he probably looks up to you, and wants to be just like you. Why not try to include him, but set ground rules with that privilege, such as no being in your room without you, and that you'll share your gum, if he asks. If you mess up the relationship with him when he's young, you two may never be close.

1. place duck tape on the nside of the door with your signature on it, so when he opens the door it will peel off and won't stick back right

2. Just start going into his room and hide his stuff
