Ok, now that we have Favre how do you see the Jets doing, honestly?

I dont want to hear this "4 wins last year" bullshit...that was a completely different team. COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!

I think it is very important that Favre gels quickly with the rest of the team. We play the Phins in the season opener but then have two very tough games against the Patriots and the Chargers....

Even before Favre came, Jets made some very good off season moves to improve the team, I do feel a bit bad for Pennington, I always had a soft spot for him like many Jets fan......but if Favre can emulate the season he had last year, I do think we have a chance to reach the playoffs as a wild card, but it won't be easy as usual in the AFC.

Being a Jet fan, I honestly think we can comepte for the division this year, but will most likely get a wildcard spot and win in the wildcard round and lose in the divisional round.  The same as when we had Pennington.

the O- line still sucks,WR can not catch a cold if they stood out side in the cold with no clothing on,Defense gives up points like someone left the shower running.

I think they might be lucky and pull off 6 wins but get ready for another sad year 3-13 or 4-12 is very real

Well when you look at it. Favre's last play was a pick. Favre started the season on fire but his play declined in the playoffs. Favre's career is going lower. The Jet's may hit 6-10 but no it's not COMPLETELY DIFFERENT

even if you think favre is some magic man, the rest of the team sucks. Mostly WR's and Defensive backs. They'll get torn up by the Patriots WR's twice. The Ravens will dominate the recieving game. The Jets just dont have good players.

Brett NEEDS a good surrounding cast, mostly an offensive line that will pass block for him. If they don't block, the running game is average and the WRs are not on the same page, it's gonna be UGLY.

I am a Patriots fan and I am excited to finally have a QB in the division that can match up with Brady. Pennigton was a good QB, he did not have much of an arm, but a good football sense; although very prone to injury.

It is hard to say how the Jets are going to be, without seeing Favre actaully take a few snaps. I think having a QB as seasoned as Favre will allow for more diverse play calling and taking a lot of pressure of the running game. This is a major offensive upgrade, but I still think New England is too stacked. The Jets will probably contend for the Wild Card. However, by the time Favre leads the Jets to where they want to be, he will really be calling it quits, In all reality Favre has two or three more seasons at the most.

they could go anywhere from 7-9 to 10-6 but i dont think they will make the playoffs because of all the good teams in the AFC like patriots who are in their division, or, colts, chargers, jaguars, steelers, etc.... so they will improve but wont make the playoffs.

3. The running game has to "work."

On a good note: 9-7 & they sneak in.

On a bad note: 7-9 or 8-8 & Favre retires.

still horrible, cuz thers this thing called the madden curse......it goes ALLLLLLLLL the way back to '01 (with the exception of Vince Young cuz hes just totally awesome) and Favre is on the cover now!!!!!!! AND hes in a different jersey so that will add to the curse
