Okay Cali doesnt have that many digits in a phone number....maybe its a over seas call?

The 1240 is likely a programming screwup on their part. For PBX systems that use ISDN (Intergrated Services Digital Network), they send their own Caller ID out. Evidently they have it wrong and the 1240 is showing where it should only show 1. This explains why you gets calls that show NO Caller ID...if the originator is on ISDN, they may not be sending anything out in the CLID field to the telco.
