  1. Where'd you get it, on the bottom of your foot?

  2. i got a foot tat on july 26th mine is still peeling and not fully healed.  As for the swelling...it was like i was pregnant and felt like i was walking on a bruise and very sore for only about a week....aslo my toes were purple for about 2 days.  feet take forever to heal cuz its soo close to the tendons and bone.  Although give it time but i know what your saying it is sore as f*ck not like any of my other tattoo

  3. Feet are problematic sometimes. You need to stop the swelling, - try taking prescription strength ibuprofen (600mg - 3  x 200mg) every 6 hours for 24 hours. Elevate your foot and don't move it more than absolutely necessary. Take off work if you have to to get this under control. Don't ice directly on it. Wash it with antibacterial, and use Lubriderm (it'll sting for a few days). and see how things go. If you have red dye, you could be reacting to it. Baby it and it may calm down and heal fine. But if you don't it'll just take longer and could get worse.

If it looks infected go to a doctor.

Check out this site and the links about foot tattoo problems, and good luck to you.

  4. There might be a little pain, after all, you had the tattoo over a lot of bones.  A little swelling may also be normal--read LITTLE.  But it shouldn't hurt like a b**** to walk on it.  Try keeping it coated with an antibiotic like bacitracin or neosporin.

If it keeps up more than a couple of days, you might want to go see the doctor.  An infection could be what's making it hurt.  Your feet are near the ground and lots of bacteria and stuff.

    Good luck!

  5. i know exactly what you are talking about i had my right foot done in march and my left just last tuesday and i had exactly the experience with mine, didn't hurt getting it done but swelled up like a brick afterwards.

since getting them done i found i few things that work and will make it easier as mine swelled up so big i couldn't actually walk for 4 days, so the things i done where

    plenty of ibuprofen

raised and rested the foot only walk when you have to

ice the foot this stings really bad and actually feels like your burning the skin but its fine

also when you do need to walk try walking on the outside of the foot i found it less painful

and finally just as a warning that once the swelling starts to go you will get bad pins and needles just try to walk through it

    hope it gets better soon
