  1. Be sure you do want this, they are a lot of work, and buns don't like to be held a lot. It is best to have 2 buns in my opinion , I have 4. Don't let them run around your house, they will chew on carpet, wires, and furniture, and they will get seriously backed up in their digestive tract causing them to need surgery to remove the things they swallowed.

  2. Just a helpful hint: despite their cuteness, smaller rabbits tent to be more "nippy" and bite more because they feel threatened because of their size.

  3. Do all the research you can. You will eventually find that rabbits are not rodents, they are lagomorphs (and shouldn't be in the rodent category). Remember to get your rabbit neutered. They make better pets that way. Check your local pound or shelter for a lop breed. Petfinder.com can help you find the right rabbit for you. Rabbits are often killed in shelters, so save a life and adopt!

  4. Research, research, research:

  5. yes I just want to say there is no such thing as a dwarf mini lop...perhaps you mean holland lop which are smaller then mini lops and top out at about 4 lbs...get a good book from the library and research your breeds..holland lops are a good choice much calmer then most rabbits their size.
