Ok, so my co-worker is not here today and I want to tell my boss.....

Question

That she's been throwing out resumes when they come in because they are over qualified for the supervisor position that just opened up. The thing is that she feels like she should be the one getting the position. What should I do, I thinks that's not right....

I need some opinions before I go and tell my boss.

Honestly I couldn't tell my boss that.  I feel you SHOULD but I'd feel...weird telling on her like that.  So I'd have to say "Did you get those last couple resumes that came in?  Jessica had them in a pile to give to you yesterday.  They were sitting right there."

Then he has to ask her directly.

But if you are braver than I am just tell him that you were wondering when the new super would be starting.  You saw Jessica throwing out resumes so you assumed the position was filled already.
