That she's been throwing out resumes when they come in because they are over qualified for the supervisor position that just opened up. The thing is that she feels like she should be the one getting the position. What should I do, I thinks that's not right....

I need some opinions before I go and tell my boss.

  1. TELL HIM. period.

  2. Bring it to your bosses attention that resumes have been thrown out, if he wants details just tell him that you know for a fact that not only were they intercepted and read, but highly qualified ones were thrown in the trash on purpose.  Ask that he not say that you were the one who told him this information or you could be working for this person if she gets the job.

  3. I think you should tell your boss. What she's been doing is wrong. If you are quiet then it could come back to haunt you. Speak up matter of factly and let it go afterwards.

  4. You should report her @$$ she's dirty as h**l!

  5. Before you inform your boss, be sure you are right and that you have evidence to back up what you say. (Did you 'save' the resumes she threw out?)

I think your boss would need to know this.  If it were me and a staff member was discarding resumes or other documents without my approval, I would be very angry.

  6. Tell him. She's being underhanded.
