Ok, the last Manny question?

Question

Assuming that the Sox keep him and do not pick up his option. Manny is a free agent. What team does he go to? I think he goes back to Cleveland.

I think he'll re-sign with Boston or else go to the Yankees. At his age, the only team that will pay him what he wants is the Yankees, and only to spite the Sox. But they seem quite full up on aging DH-OF-IB types, so even the Yankees might take a skip on him. It will be interesting to see where he ends up. I think it's most likely that he'll end up working something out with Boston.

He is definitely going to leave at seasons end.More than likely on his terms. Boston will not distract the team more sonow, while in playoff contention. As to where he will go afterwards? Man, I am hoping somehow, some way, Yankees, or even their new rivals, Tampa. OMG, imagine??!

However, the most probable place he will go to, is either Cleveland, followed by  Detroit and Minny.
