  1. have u ever seen cayote ugly? you sound just like the chick in there! umm.. try asking your family if they will sit and listen to you sing. or friends! sing in front of people that your comfortable around, they will give you good praise! and that will lift your confidance, once your confident in your self you shouldhave no problem! who cares what others think.. thats usally the problem with stage fright, your worried what others will say and think! s***w 'em... if its what you love, dont let anyone put you down!! "No one has the right to make you feel inferior with out your consent!"-'Elenor Roosevelt'

    Just be YOU!!

  2. being on the stage takes real getting used to. Remember what you are doing. focus focus focus. You will do great! I get nervous every time i go on stage (i am an actress) and there is nothing i can do about it. SO... all you have to do is get up there and you will forget people are watching you. auditoriums are dark anyway.

  3. FOCUS YOUR ATTENTION ELSE WHERE...MAKE YOURSELF BELIEVE YOUR ALL ALONE...MAYBE TAKE SOME KIND OF COMMUNICATION/SPEECH CLASS WHERE YOU HAVE TO TALK IN FRONT OF PEOPLE. YOU HAVE TO FIND OUTLETS TO CALM YOURSELF NO ONE ELSE CAN DO THIS. GOOD LUCK!

  4. I sometimes uses my ipod and pretend that I am really daydreaming rather then see the reality when on stage. It does help.

  5. i have that problem too. the whole stage fright thing.

try practicing with just a few people around and as you get more comfortable perform in front of more and more until you overcome your fright! or if that doesnt help just focus your mind elsewhere. dont think about what your doing. just do it.

im in poms and at competitions i get nervous too, but instead of looking at the crowd or the judges i look up past everyone and just focus on the routine.

good luck overcoming your stage fright. i hope i helped =]

  6. just remember, they are not there and you have nothing to be worried about.

if you make a mistake, just learn from it. I'll send you an e mail on what you should do. its too long to write in here.

  7. Instead of looking at the audience, pick a spot on the back wall to look at. Imagine that you're just in your room, singing for yourself. Try not to think of how many people are in the audience, and instead concentrate on the song. I've never had stage fright, but I hope I helped.

  8. Imagine that you can actually see the "fourth wall" and you're all alone like in your room. If there's lights on you and the house lights are off you won't even be able to see the audience which makes the fourth wall seem a lot more real.

  9. Stage fright is about you and your relationship with yourself. I have a few tips that i've heard and used before shows...

    1) Sing in front of a mirror, make eye contact with yourself and do not break it until the end of the song. Don't laugh while doing it, that's a way to coupe with your fear or uncertainty and your goal isn't to coupe with it, but to over come it. Discipline here.

    2) Before taking the stage or just singing in front of people whisper a few things to yourself, get excited and confident. Tell yourself something like "I'm gonna make this song my personal *****" whatever works for you. Mount the stage.

    3) Even if you don't do well, you still did it, right? I mean one step at a time kid. I'm a big fan of failure, it motivates me, whenever i s***w up i do my best to never make the same mistake twice...

    4) Work your *** off, make the song you're singing second nature. A walk in the park if you will. That should really be step one but whatever.

    5) You'll be fine, there are harder things to do in the world...

    ...break a leg
