I eventually want to go into Business/Economics or Political reporting. Which internship would suit me best? With Merrill I would be in the Wealth Management department, with NPR its business news reporting.

Tell me what ya think?

  1. The fact that you're asking Yahoo Answers leads me to believe that neither Merrill or NPR would ever hire you.

  2. I think that the first person who answered your question WISHES they had your ambition so dont be offended by his answer. I think that NPR News would offer more variety AND be more interesting. Best of luck in whatever you decide! :)

  3. Stick to business. Journos are a dime a dozen these days.

  4. Do NPR.  You will meet much more interesting people and gain a more thorough understanding of how the world works.  h**l, you might even get to meet Daniel Shore, the old man from NPR news with the crazy voice and sharp but interesting political commentary.  Good luck and may you one day land a spot on All Things Considered!
