Ok, who else was impressed by China's Olympics Opening Ceremony today, Human Rights aside???

I thought it was excellent, although it was rather long! The way that guy lighted the torch was amazing! I don't think there's ever been anythin like that! And the SIZE of that Stadium!!! Jesus Christ! It could have fitted 10 Madison Square Gardens inside it and still have room to spare!

That made the Sydney Olympics look pretty bad. I liked how the theme was followed out. It was coherent and beautiful. I have to agree with you. It was pretty long. That was what you call a $300 million performance.

I was veery impressed. I hope that England doesn't put the olympics to shame next year, with THEIR opening ceremony..they'll have to do a lot to get it to the same level as China
