You still have a few months left to apply with the Embassy of Sweden.  Otherwise, perhaps a visit to Italy first would be in order.  By law, the country issuing the visa needs to be your country of entry into the Schengen Zone, or the country in which you anticipate spending the majority of your time in the Zone.  However, in your case, Sweden has not yet identified the country which will be handling its affairs in Manila - you may have to contact them directly for guidance.

you apply to either the 1) the main country of destination or 2) the first country in which you will land into.  Thus, say you are going to France, Spain, & Italy....but will spend most of your time in Spain...then you submit your schengen application in Spain.  If you are spending your time equally in 3 places and will fly into France first, then you submit your application there.
